More Than A Pet, Healing House Animals

Meet our newest addition On a hot day in September, the Healing House maintenance team came across a small, fluffy, emaciated puppy. The dog had been abandoned by its owners and left in the weeds to fend for itself at only 8 weeks old. The team knew that something had to be done soon, so they grabbed the puppy and brought him to the HH headquarters. Healing House Baptism 2022 On August 6th 2022, Healing House offered a baptism to participants and staff. As people began to arrive, they were greeted by worship music and a warm hug from Bobbi Jo Reed. Not all planned to be baptized, but with the sun on their faces and friends gathered, God made his presence known. How certified peer specialists are impacting recovery Healing House is proud to announce that former participant Charles Lindsay, has successfully completed his certification to become a peer specialist. After two years of sobriety, Charles is now officially able to work one-on-one with others who struggle with substance abuse.
