The first-ever Healing House Family Reunion marked an extraordinary milestone as it officially launched our alumni association. It was a day filled with heartwarming reunions and unforgettable moments, reaffirming the power of long-term recovery. Our alumni serve as living proof that lasting transformation is possible!
We were privileged to witness some truly touching moments at the event. One of them was Bobbi Jo reconnecting with her first-ever sponsee, as they embraced for a much-needed overdue hug! Another heartwarming highlight was welcoming back the two young girls who were the first to be born at Madeline’s Swaddle House, reminding us of the profound impact recovery has on families.
The reunion offered an array of activities, delicious treats, and special surprises for our alumni. The “Leave Your Mark Wall” allowed alumni to symbolically leave their handprints, honoring their recovery journey and inspiring current participants. Alumni also shared their stories through video testimonials and heartfelt notes, spreading hope and encouragement.
The party was complete with some awesome SWAG! We had t-shirts, stickers, and even sunglasses available for everyone. What’s more, our incredible alumni raised over $2,000 to give back to the community that supported them on their journey to overcome substance use disorder. Together, we’re making a positive impact and paying it forward.
