We welcomed our first mother into Madeline’s Swaddle House on February 20, 2017. Madeline’s Swaddle House, located a half-block east of the meeting hall, was named in honor and recognition of a couple whose financial generosity was extremely instrumental in making this housing project possible. Madeline’s House will provide safe, supporting housing for expecting mothers and women with infants.
Thank you to the many volunteers who helped renovate this once dilapidated house to make it a home for our expecting mothers and their children! On Saturday, January 21st, a group of more than 30 volunteers from the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection (COR, downtown campus) spent several hours helping out. They cleaned up Madeline’s Swaddle House and cleared out the adjacent cottage which will be the new site for the Changing Station Daycare.
