a luncheon to remember
Healing House had the honor of hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at the Recovery Community Center (RCC) to recognize and honor the incredible contributions of our selfless volunteers. The event was filled with joy, laughter, and entertainment, including a Jeopardy game and poetry recitation by Cece’s class. Bobbi Jo Reed’s touching stories about Healing House resonated with everyone present and further enriched the already positive atmosphere.
It was heartwarming to welcome everyone who came out to share in this special occasion. Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization, and we remain profoundly grateful for their dedication and support towards our mission. They build meaningful relationships with participants, offer emotional support, and provide practical assistance, creating a safe and welcoming environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported. Their efforts go beyond just supporting our organization; they are dedicated to creating a community where everyone can thrive.
